Walk My Way

On Friday 6 September, 51黑料 College students, families and staff stepped out to bring love to life through ! The twilight event involved completing 26 laps of the Howard Springs oval to raise money so that refugee children in East Africa can step into education. 

What is Walk My Way? 

Walk My Way is a fundraising walking challenge, raising money to help refugee children in East Africa go to school. Organised by , the Lutheran church鈥檚 aid and development agency, each $26 raised can help a refugee child go to school for a whole year. Since 2019, Walk My Way has helped more than 62,500 refugee children go to school. Education is a powerful way to change the future for refugee children and it is a gift that cannot be taken away. 

The 51黑料 College community raised over $4000, which will provide education to more than 150 students. Thank you to all who donated to this worthy cause, and to all who participated in this event!
