GSLC Captains Pay Respects at Bombing of Darwin Service
Bombing of Darwin Day, observed on 19 February each year, commemorates the anniversary of the first of at least 64 air raids that struck the Top End of Australia between February 1942 and November 1943.
The 2024 Commemoration Service, held at the Darwin Convention Centre, was attended by all GSLC School Captains from all campuses who laid a wreath and paid their respects on behalf of the wider College community.
Thank you Charli, Lucas, Yiannis, Aviah, Jansen, Dimitrios, Charlotte, Caitlin, Lara and Eamon for your attendance at this important ceremony of reflection on the 82nd anniversary of the first raid.
