Getting the Most out of Work Experience
Year 10 students continue to amaze us by their positivity and great work ethic. Well done everyone - thank you to our teachers who have been visiting each student on work experience. Students were asked, "what has been your best part of the placement so far?"
Charlotte – Girraween Primary School, her supervisor 5/6 Teacher Tameeka. "The best part has been kids fighting (fussing) over me, who gets to sit next to me or hold my hand. So cute!”
Aeryn – On the Menu Catering. “The best part has been the construction of the foods we cater for.”
Ashleigh – Darwin Podiatry and her supervisor Podiatrist Sally. “The best part has been watching on in the appointments with clients, I’ve learnt a lot!”
Stirling – Care Flight and his supervisor Nic. "The best part has been working on the jet engines and hopefully going on a flight soon.”
Lainey – Nyba Hair in Howard Springs and her supervisor/owner Kelly. "The best part has been meeting everyone, all the clients and Kelly.”
